Situated on the western side of the island, Gouyave, sometimes called the Fishing Capital of Grenada, Action city or Bacchanal city, is the town that never sleeps.
Really nice area, quite a tatty town but authentic Caribbean. Coastal views are stunning, lots of fisherman and fishing boats and pelicans diving into the ocean. Bit of an epic getting there from Grand Anse but worth the effort despite some of the west coast road closed - zero sign posts. Read more.
