Charles R. Wilson (born October 14, 1954) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
The Nobel Prize in Physics 1927 was divided equally between Arthur Holly Compton "for his discovery of the effect named after him" and Charles Thomson Rees Wilson "for his method of making the paths of electrically charged particles visible by condensation of vapour"

Judge Charles R. Wilson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit is an extraordinarily gifted public servant. Fortunately, he is alive and well, and tirelessly serving the public in Tampa, Florida. His life and career have been exemplary, and not by coincidence.
