Thirty-two-year-old Sonny Koufax (Adam Sandler) has spent his whole life avoiding responsibility. But when his girlfriend dumps him for an older man, he's got to find a way to prove he's ready to grow up.
Sonny Koufax graduated from law school years ago but chose not to take the bar exam. Instead, he works as a tollbooth operator and spends his day loafing around. One day his girlfriend decides that she has had enough and tells him that things must change or else it's over.
