Ayamonte (Spanish pronunciation: [aʝaˈmonte]; Portuguese: Aiamonte) is a town and municipality of Spain belonging to the province of Huelva, Andalusia. It is located near the border with Portugal on the mouth of the Guadiana River. According to the 2015 census, the city had a population of 20,357 inhabitants.

Ayamonte ist eine spanische Stadt in der Provinz Huelva in der Autonomen Region Andalusien. Am 1. Januar 2022 lebten dort 21.725 Einwohner. Das Stadtgebiet hat eine Fläche von 142 km² und eine Bevölkerungsdichte von 153 Ew./km². Der Ort liegt an der Mündung des Guadiana -Flusses in den Atlantischen Ozean und damit an der Grenze zu Portugal.
The Guadiana International Bridge ( Spanish: Puente Internacional del Guadiana; Portuguese: Ponte Internacional do Guadiana) is a bridge that crosses the Guadiana River connecting southern Spain (town of Ayamonte) and Portugal (town of Castro Marim ). It is the southernmost land crossing on the Portugal–Spain border.
