Velvet Revolver was an American hard rock supergroup formed in 2002 by former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum, and Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots. The band released two albums, Contraband and Libertad, and won a Grammy Award before Weiland left in 2008.
