Demon Slayers, shortened, Slayer. is an organization that has existed since ancient times, dedicating its existence to protecting humanity from demons. (YOU CAN NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE FINAL SELECTION IF YOU ARE A SLAYER)
You must complete Final Selection in order to become a slayer. You need to be level 15 and go to Final Selection Waiting Area . It starts at 6am EST, 11am EST, 4pm EST and 10pm EST
As a slayer you are forced to wear a uniform with 4 purchasable variants at the Butterfly Mansion and Wop's Training Grounds. You can still wear a Haori, though.
You also gain a Kasugai Crow, which will passively find you quests to do as well as allow you to chat with any other slayer regardless of the distance (as long as they have a crow called out). You can customize it, but only through a Gamepass.
Each breathing style has a different place to learn it and different quests (on the pages). To obtain one, you must go to the respective trainer and pay them wen, the amount of wen varies based on the teacher, with the level 75 breathing styles also requiring demon horns. At the end of each questline, they all require you to beat their respective Bosses to obtain the breathing type.

When you hold the Kasugai Crow item in your hand and click it will cause the crow to fly to you, follow you and sit on your head once it catches up. •You can still use breathing styles as a a Human. Actually, if you are max, being human is basically the same as being a slayer.
Breathing Styles are swordsmanship styles that makes use of an esoteric breathing technique known as Total Concentration Breathing practiced and taught by members of the Demon Slayer Corps and are used in combat by Demon Slayers (later passed on as traditional dances post-time skip).
