The Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein (German: Landtag des Fürstentums Liechtenstein), commonly referred to as the Landtag of Liechtenstein (German: Liechtensteinischer Landtag), is the unicameral parliament of Liechtenstein.
The Liechtenstein Parliament – the Landtag – consists of 25 members. It exercises its rights in the sessions of the complete Landtag. Deliberations on laws are also usually carried out in the Plenary Assembly. This is why the Landtag is described as a “working Parliament“.
In the State structure of the Principality of Liechtenstein with its dualistic concept, the Parliament or Landtag as the lawful body has the important function of representing all the citizens of the country.
