Our mission as the Columbus Division of Fire is to serve our community by preventing emergencies through education and inspection. Minimizing injury, death, and property destruction due to fire, natural disaster and other emergencies while providing timely and effective emergency medical services.
The Columbus Division of Fire (CFD) provides fire protection and emergency medical services to Columbus, Ohio. The department operates 35 stations; the newest station opened March 2020. The stations are divided into seven battalions.

16 de fev. de 2024 · Seagrave was founded by Fredric Seagrave in Detroit, Michigan, in 1881. As such, Seagrave is the oldest manufacturer of fire apparatus in the United States. The company moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1891, and remained there until 1963, when the company was purchased by FWD.
We have been designing, installing, and servicing all types of commercial fire prevention systems and equipment since 1963. Because of our exceptional products and services, we have grown to become one of the largest private fire protection companies in Ohio!
