The new Walt Disney Animation Studios wordmark logo was first seen Disney's 2020 Investor Day Presentation on December 10, 2020. However, the previous logo is still primarily used as an on-screen logo today. Currently it is only used for "Walt Disney Animation Studios Collection" on Disney+.
31 de mai. de 2024 · Starting in 2008, the logo was given a high definition look, which used the same animation. On the iPad app Disney Animated, the logo is in a 4:3 aspect ratio and is shown before the first section "Art in Motion". In this variant, the logo zooms in to focus on an abridged version of the Steamboat Willie footage.
In 2012, Disney redesigned the logo's background to adapt to movies made in 2:35:1.
