Trivia. Profile. Background. Wally was present for every episode and storybook for Welcome Home, as well as the focus of most merchandise and other advertisements. Little is known about Wally outside of his role as the show's audience surrogate; there is currently no mention, or even an indication, that he has ever lived anywhere but Home.
Each Neighbor had their own unique recurring segments throughout the show’s run, such as Eddie Dear's arts and crafts, Sally Starlet's plays, or Wally Darling's paintings. In the show, the viewer was regarded as an additional Neighbor, and would be spoken to by Wally regularly.
