Ross Butler is an American actor. He portrayed Reggie Mantle for the first season of The CW's Riverdale. Charles Melton took up the role during Season 2. However, Ross returned during the sixth season to reprise an alternate version of Reggie, dubbed Reggie Prime.
He is best known for his role as Zach Dempsey in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and as Brett Willis on K.C. Undercover. [4] [5] He was also cast as Reggie Mantle in the Netflix/ The CW show Riverdale, but left the role after one season due to filming commitments to 13 Reasons Why.
Riverdale brought back the original Reggie Mantle, played by Ross Butler, in a surprise cameo for the 100th episode of the show. The episode also featured a parallel universe-themed event called "Rivervale" with some shocking twists and turns.
Reginald "Reggie" Mantle was initially a recurring character on The CW's Riverdale. He has since been promoted to series regular for the third season onward. He was portrayed by Ross Butler in the first season, though Charles Melton replaced Butler in the second season.
