Steven Sugar is the brother of series creator Rebecca Sugar as well as the inspiration for the main character, Steven Universe.[1] While he was a student at Rhode Island School of Design, he worked as a summer intern at Cartoon Network on Ben 10: Ultimate Alien.
Steven Sugar is the lead background designer for The Owl House. [1] Sugar was born on August 15, 1990, in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is the younger brother of Rebecca Sugar, the creator of the Cartoon Network series Steven Universe and its epilogue series Steven Universe Future.
In 2009, she wrote and animated Singles, in which frequent collaborator Ian Jones-Quartey acted as an assistant animator, assistant inker and voice actor on the project, while Sugar's brother Steven Sugar acted as an assistant colorist.
Steven Sugar is Rebecca's younger brother,who graduated (with honors) from Rhode Island School of Design. He is the inspiration for the cartoon Steven, and is a great artist in his own right.
