Queen Margaret University Edinburgh (QMU) was founded in 1875 as the Edinburgh School of Cookery. The school was committed to providing educational opportunities for women and improving the diets of working class families.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) programme at Queen Margaret University aims to prepare students to work in the field of public health in the UK and beyond. This programme is led by the Institute for Global Health and Development (IGHD) and taught by the diverse and experienced staff of the School of Health Sciences at QMU.
