Musidora passe parallèlement à la réalisation en adaptant deux romans de Colette, L'Ingénue libertine, qui devient Minne (1916), et La Vagabonde (1917) ; puis elle tourne un scénario original de cet écrivain, La Flamme cachée (1918), avant d'être l'auteur complet de Vicenta (1919).
Jeanne Roques (23 February 1889 – 11 December 1957), known professionally as Musidora, was a French actress, film director, and writer. She is best known for her acting in silent films, and rose to public attention for roles in the Louis Feuillade serials Les Vampires as Irma Vep and in Judex as Marie Verdier.
24 de ago. de 2021 · Her choice of career may have been partly inspired by the novelist Colette: they became friends and worked together for years. For example, Musidora was the author’s choice to star in and co-direct the (now-lost) 1917 film adaptation of La Vagabonde.
