Tom Holland, who directed the 1985 cult classic Fright Night, will revive the franchise with a true sequel to the original. The story will follow Charley and Amy, the main characters from the first movie, and will be released as a book and a movie in 2018.
The Fright Night franchise consists of American vampire horror-comedy films, including three theatrical releases with an original movie, its sequel and a remake, followed by one straight-to-home video sequel to the remake.
