Francis Benjamin Johnson Jr. (June 13, 1918 – April 8, 1996) was an American film and television actor, stuntman, and world-champion rodeo cowboy. Johnson brought authenticity to many roles in Westerns with his droll manner and expert horsemanship.
Ben Johnson (1918-1996) was an American actor who appeared in over 300 movies, including The Last Picture Show, The Wild Bunch, and The Getaway. He also worked as a stuntman, horse wrangler, and double for stars like John Wayne and James Stewart, and won a world roping championship in 1953.
