  1. William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, 6th Earl Fitzwilliam. Lady Frances Harriet. William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam, Viscount Milton MP (27 July 1839 – 17 January 1877) was a British nobleman, explorer, [1] and Liberal Party politician.

  2. William Charles Wentworth-FitzWilliam, Viscount Milton, (18 January 1812 – 8 November 1835) was an English nobleman and politician. He served in Parliament from 1832 to his death in 1835, and was one of the youngest people to serve in Parliament in the modern era.

  3. The next creation was for William Fitzwilliam, 3rd Lord Fitzwilliam and Baron of Lifford in the Peerage of Ireland. He was created Earl Fitzwilliam and Viscount Milton (i.e. Milltown in County Westmeath ), again in the Peerage of Ireland, on 21 July 1716.

His son and heir, Charles William Wentworth-Fitzwilliam (1786-1857) – known as Viscount Milton when young – became the 5th Earl Fitzwilliam in 1833 (i.e. 5th Earl in the Irish Peerage, and 3rd Earl in the English Peerage) on the death of his father.
