As a master of jazz-fusion, progressive, hard rock, and heavy metal, Steve Morse has touched millions with a guitar in hand. The broad spectrum of Morse’s work, which includes stops along the way with the Dixie Dregs, Kansas, and most notably, Deep Purple, is as awe-inspiring as it is expansive.

He has also worked on various documentaries for Banger Films, including the award-winning Rush doc Beyond the Lighted Stage. So many good songs from Deep Purple's Morse-era, but here are the best of the bunch.
Profile: Steven J. "Steve" Morse (born July 28, 1954) is an American guitarist, best known as the founder of the Dixie Dregs, and the guitar player in Deep Purple since 1994 until his departure from the band in July 2022.
