1 de mai. de 2024 · Newborough National Nature Reserve and Forest on Anglesey with its beach and dunes is a popular area for recreation and is home to wildlife, especially red squirrels.
Newborough must be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The views over to the Llyn Peninsula are stunning. The walk to Llandwyn Island is a contrast with the main beach itself.

Newborough Warren is an extensive sand dune system and includes the most southerly part of Anglesey at Abermenai Point. The warren is made up of active and fixed dunes and provides an important habitat for many rare plants and animals. The area forms part of a National Nature Reserve (NNR) which encompasses Malltraeth Sands, the Cob Pool, Cefni ...
Lovely forest, interesting island and beautiful beaches. So good we went two days in a row! Got down there by 10 so the beach carpark was virtually empty. Pick up a walks pamphlet near the toilets and off we went. Did the blue walk which took us over to the island once the tide had gone down a bit.

Try this 18.3-km circular trail near Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Anglesey. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 13 min to complete. This is a popular trail for hiking, running, and walking, but you can still enjoy some solitude during quieter times of day.

7 de fev. de 2017 · A lovely walk in south west Anglesey, good forest tracks with stunning sea and Snowdonia views near the end, in the Newborough Warren National Nature Reserve. At just over 8 miles the walk is easy as fairly flat.
Newborough must be one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. The views over to the Llyn Peninsula are stunning. The walk to Llandwyn Island is a contrast with the main beach itself. We come every time we visit Anglesey. This time we arrived then the tide was in.
