The Jalisco New Generation Cartel (Spanish: Cártel de Jalisco Nueva Generación) or CJNG, is a Mexican criminal syndicate, based in Jalisco and headed by Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes ("El Mencho"). The cartel has been characterized by extreme violence and public relations campaigns.
