- THE SCHOOL
The School of American Ballet (SAB) is the associate school of the New York City Ballet, a ballet company based at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in New York City. The school trains students from the age of six, with professional vocational ballet training for students aged 11–18.
American Ballet Theatre (ABT) is one of the greatest dance companies in the world, revered as a living national treasure since its founding in 1939 and dedicated to preserving and extending the great legacy of classical dance.
The School of American Ballet is located in the Samuel B. and David Rose Building at the northwest corner of the Lincoln Center campus. (165 W. 65th Street between Amsterdam and Broadway).
