Starting on page 125 of this link is an article and plans for a 42" gas hydroplane, FYI. Uses a 3-3/4lb. Ohlsson & Rice motor, nice photos and drawings.

  3. 2 de mai. de 2020 · I built a White Heat 10 about 1965. The hull is the same but the cowling is different. (see my WH10 post.) I started this build in April of this year. When was the last time you ran your boat?

  4. 25 de jul. de 2021 · One is a White Heat V from plans that was in the June 1962 Popular Mechanics magazine. The other one is the same boat with a modern engine and drive train. For the first boat, I have a brand new 50 or 60 year old O&R engine and an original Octura steerable strut.

  7. R/C, single-step hydroplane is capable of thrilling straight-away speeds yet can be throttled down to a minnow's pace. It's small enough to carry and large enough to race and control on rough water. It planes beautifully, it's easy to start and is economical to build.
