Papa Emeritus II was the second frontman of Ghost during the Infestissumam and If You Have Ghost cycle from 2012-2015. Papa Emeritus II is the first Papa to have a mask custom-made for him, a process that would be repeated for all future Papas.

In 2012, during a concert in the band's hometown of Linköping, Sweden, Papa Emeritus was seemingly retired and replaced by a new vocalist, Papa Emeritus II, but this was actually Forge in another costume.
On December 15, 2012 during a special live show at the band's hometown of Linköping, Sweden, Papa I retired and was replaced by Papa Emeritus II. In March 2018, he, alongside his brothers Papa Emeritus II and Papa Emeritus III, were killed by Papa Nihil, Sister Imperator, and the clergy.
