5 de mai. de 2014 · In 1960, Ken started his independent academic career as a lecturer at Derby College of Technology, moving in 1961 to the University of Durham, where he was subsequently promoted to senior lecturer (1971), reader (1977), and professor (1983).

26 de jun. de 2014 · Professor Ken Wade, F.R.S. and one of the great gentlemen in science, passed away unexpectedly on March 16 th of this year. Ken was an outstanding chemist, a selfless and wise leader, and a true friend to all who knew him.
Kenneth Wade, FRSC FRS (1932–2014) was a British chemist and professor emeritus at Durham University.
10 de nov. de 2015 · In 1960, Ken returned to the UK to take up his first independent academic position as a lecturer at Derby College of Technology, before moving north to take up a lectureship at the University of Durham a year later, where his interests in synthetic main group chemistry continued to expand.
