Site history. Prior to 1998, the Studio's site was host to Sydney's Royal Easter Show – the largest event held in Australia, and the sixth largest in the world. In 1881, the New South Wales Government provided land for the Royal Agricultural Society at Moore Park where the show was held for 116 years.

New South Wales. Moore Park Nature Reserve is a small remnant of "dry" rainforest in Northern New South Wales. It lies at the confluence of Findon Creek and the Richmond River. It was once part of a larger rainforest known as Boyd's Scrub. A colony of Flying Foxes lives in the rainforest.

History of Moore Park. Moore Park was founded as a recreation ground in 1866 to assuage pressure from the people of Sydney for a public space for outdoor activities and organised sports.

Part of the broader Centennial Parklands (a huge green swathe that cuts from Surry Hills to Bondi), Moore Park covers 115 hectares south of Paddington. With sports fields, tennis courts, an 18-hole public golf course and a site for visiting circuses, there’s plenty here to keep you off the streets.
Moore Park Golf. Founded in 1913, Moore Park Golf Course is one of Sydney's oldest public courses. It features a Golf Academy, a 60 bay, all-weather driving range, function rooms and free parking for patrons.
