John Austen Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (born 14 July 1947) is a property developer and former Chairman of the Watermark Group, son of Sir Richard Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe, 2nd Baronet, and Nancy Moireach Malcolmson.
John Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe is Chairman of the Duke of Newcastle Trusts and the Weller Poley Trusts and sits as a trustee/consultant for five other family trusts. Jo is currently a non-executive director of the Ellis Campbell Group and Hintlesham Holdings Ltd and is a trustee of the Elvetham Charitable Trust and the Newcastle Charitable Trust.
11 de fev. de 2009 · 26 In 1910, on the death of Augustus, sixth Lord Calthorpe, he having at that time no direct male heir, all the family property passed to his eldest daughter, the Hon. Rachel Lloyd-Anstruther (who changed her surname to Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe in Nov. 1910), while the title went to Augustus's only surviving brother, Somerset Gough-Calthorpe, who thus remained marooned at Perry.
The Family. The stewardship of the family estate is currently overseen by Sir Euan Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe. Sir Euan is married with four children. Sir Euan's family have cared for Elvetham since Barbara Reynolds married Reynolds Calthorpe 350 years ago.
