Line of Duty is a British police procedural and serial drama created by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Productions for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). It first began broadcasting on BBC Two on 26 June 2012.
Writer: Line of Duty. Jed Mercurio was born in Nelson, Lancashire to Italian immigrant parents, but grew up in Cannock, Staffordshire. He graduated from the University of Birmingham Medical School in 1991 and practised as a hospital doctor for three years.
