Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey KG, GCB, GCH, PC (17 May 1768 – 29 April 1854), styled Lord Paget between 1784 and 1812 and known as the Earl of Uxbridge between 1812 and 1815, was a British Army officer and politician.

Anglesey was a liberal Lord Lieutenant, who found common cause with many of Daniel O'Connell's demands for reform. His greatest achievement as Lord Lieutenant was the establishment of a national education system. He retired in 1833. Anglesey returned to public office as Master-General of the Ordinance from 1846 to 1852.
