Stan Wertlieb (born 8 September 1953) is a Miami-based film producer and the head of Grindstone Entertainment Group.
In 2005, Mandate Pictures was officially formed when the Los Angeles–based Senator International completed a management buyout from German indie giant Senator Entertainment AG. Joe Drake, Brian Goldsmith and Nathan Kahane became the sole proprietors of Mandate Pictures.
The film is an international co-production between the United States, Germany, and Switzerland, produced by Grindstone Entertainment Group and Silver Reel; they confirmed the lead cast of Juliette Binoche, Frank Grillo and Morgan Freeman in July 2021.
