About Our School. Fairport High School (FHS) is a large suburban school located outside of Rochester, NY, with an overall enrollment of 1,500 students in grades 10-12. Fairport is known throughout the region for its "Fairport Family" mantra and supportive culture.
As the official policy-making body of the school district, the Board of Education directs the education of students and guides the operation of the District. The Board establishes policies and has final control over local school matters except where limited by law.
