Chechen State University (Russian: Чеченский государственный университет) is a university located in Grozny, Chechnya, Russia. The school is home to the North Caucasian Centre of Pedagogics. The university traces its roots back to 1938.
Chechen State University is one of the leading russian universities. Every year we training more than 1000 foreign students in different specialities. The functions and authority of the University Founder belong to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
On 28 February 1995, Chechen-Ingush State University named after Lev Nikolayevich Tolstoy was renamed into Chechen State University. Later in 2011 the University transformed into the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Chechen State University”.
Chechen State University dates back to 1938 and continues traditions of classic university education combined with advanced study technologies. It operates in a multi-level educational system, which allows to produce highly qualified specialists.
A large-scale youth event "Street art Grozny 2020" was held by the Chechen State University with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). Active young people gathered in the Hussein bin Talal recreation park to take part in one of the most spectacular events of the autumn – the festival of street cultures.
