The Boch Center has ignited a greater appreciation for creativity as an essential component to our society for generations and is home to Boston’s iconic Wang and Shubert Theatres, which have anchored the historic Theater District for 100 years.
The distribution center adds more than 50 new associates in the state and will receive, store and ship more than 50,000 different products for video surveillance, intrusion and fire detection, access control and management systems and professional audio and conference systems.
It originally opened in 1925 as the Metropolitan Theatre and was later renamed the Music Hall. It was designed by Clarence Blackall and is located at 252–272 Tremont Street in the Boston Theatre District. The theatre is operated as part of the Boch Center. [2]
Just as the city and audience have evolved with the times, the Boch Center, as guardian of the Wang and Shubert Theatres (and from 2012-15, the Center also managed the historic Emerson Colonial Theatre), has changed to meet the needs of its community.
The Shubert Theatre is a theatre in Boston, Massachusetts, at 263-265 Tremont Street in the Boston Theater District. [2] It opened on January 24, 1910, with a production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew starring E. H. Sothern and Julia Marlowe.
