Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie (born September 17, 1969) is an American composer and sound engineer based in Brussels, Belgium.
Adam is probably best known for his work as founder of seminal musical projects Stars of the Lid and A Winged Victory for the Sullen. Wiltzie has written the original scores for several film and television productions including Salero, The Yellow Birds and Iris.
Stars of the Lid is an American ambient music project that formerly consisted of Brian McBride and Adam Wiltzie. The duo formed in Austin, Texas, in 1993.
A Winged Victory for the Sullen is an American ambient music duo composed of Dustin O'Halloran and Adam Wiltzie. [1] [2] [3] They have released four studio albums , an EP, and one soundtrack album. In 2015, they performed at the Royal Albert Hall as part of The Proms .
