Winfried Georg Maximilian Sebald, mais conhecido como W. G. Sebald ( Wertach, distrito de Oberallgäu, 18 de maio de 1944 - Norfolk, 14 de dezembro de 2001 ), foi um escritor e acadêmico alemão . Biografia. Nascido e criado na Baviera, viveu em Sonthofen de 1948 a 1963.
