Abdellatif Laâbi (born 1942) is a Moroccan poet, journalist, novelist, playwright, translator and political activist. Laâbi, then teaching French, founded with other poets the artistic journal Souffles, an important literary review in 1966.
Abdellatif Laâbi, né à Fès en 1942 [1], est un poète, écrivain et traducteur marocain. Il a fondé en 1966 la revue Souffles qui jouera un rôle considérable dans le renouvellement culturel au Maghreb. Son combat lui vaut d'être emprisonné de 1972 à 1980. Il s'est exilé en France en 1985.
