Alice Salomon (19 April 1872 – 30 August 1948) was a German social reformer and pioneer of social work as an academic discipline. Her role was so important to German social work that the Deutsche Bundespost (German post office) issued a commemorative postage stamp about her in 1989.
Alice Salomon was an educator, feminist, economist, and international activist who was one of the pioneers of the emerging field of professional social work in Germany in the early 20th century.

Alice Salomon (1872-1948) war eine berühmte Vertreterin der nationalen und internationalen Frauenbewegung, die die Soziale Frauenschulen und die Soziale Arbeit als moderner Beruf in Deutschland gründete.
