Antonio Pigafetta (Italian: [anˈtɔːnjo piɡaˈfetta]; c. 1491 – c. 1531) was a Venetian scholar and explorer. He joined the Spanish expedition to the Spice Islands led by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan , the world's first circumnavigation , and is best known for being the chronicler of the voyage.

Antonio Pigafetta foi um nobre italiano do Renascimento que exerceu funções de cronista, explorador e geógrafo ao serviço da República de Veneza. Além disso, foi cavaleiro da Ordem de Malta, e considera-se que terá sido o primeiro europeu a relatar a descoberta do estreito de Magalhães.
