Guido van Rossum (Haarlem, 31 de janeiro de 1956 [1]) é um matemático e programador de computadores holandês, mais conhecido por ser o autor da linguagem de programação Python.
Guido van Rossum (Dutch: [ˈɣido vɑn ˈrɔsʏm,-səm]; born 31 January 1956) is a Dutch programmer best known as the creator of the Python programming language, for which he was the "benevolent dictator for life" (BDFL) until he stepped down from the position on 12 July 2018.

Guido van Rossum is the creator of the Python programming language. He grew up in the Netherlands and studied at the University of Amsterdam, where he graduated with a Master's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
