  5. Kuhn is popularly known for his relation with fellow graduate student and colleage John Nash. Kuhn edited Nash's papers and was instrumental in the award to Nash of the 1994 Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel. Kuhn served as a consultant on the biopic of Nash’s life, A Beautiful Mind (2001).
