Robert Alexander Watson-Watt, KCB, FRS, FRAeS (13 de abril de 1892 - 5 de Dezembro de 1973) é considerado por muitos como o inventor do radar. (O nome do hífen é usado aqui por razões de coerência, embora esta não foi adotada até que ele foi nomeado cavaleiro em 1942.)
Sir Robert Alexander Watson Watt KCB FRS FRAeS (13 April 1892 – 5 December 1973) was a Scottish pioneer of radio direction finding and radar technology. Watt began his career in radio physics with a job at the Met Office, where he began looking for accurate ways to track thunderstorms using the radio waves given off by lightning.

15 de abr. de 2024 · Sir Robert Alexander Watson-Watt was a Scottish physicist credited with the development of radar in England. Watson-Watt attended the University of St. Andrews and later taught at University College, Dundee. From 1915 to 1952 he held a number of government positions, beginning as a meteorologist.
