Harold Davenport (Huncoat, 30 de outubro de 1907 — Cambridge, 9 de junho de 1969) foi um matemático inglês. Conhecido por contribuições fundamentais na teoria dos números. Foi professor da Cátedra Rouse Ball de Matemática, de 1958 a 1969.
Harold Davenport FRS [1] (30 October 1907 – 9 June 1969) was an English mathematician, known for his extensive work in number theory.
Harold Davenport worked on number theory, in particular the geometry of numbers, Diophantine approximation and the analytic theory of numbers. He wrote a number of important textbooks and monographs including The higher arithmetic (1952).

At first a clerk, he became the company secretary. He married Nancy Barnes, one of the daughters of John Barnes, the owner of the mill.

When 10 or 11 years old, Harold started at Accrington Grammar School, and later he wrote that he had had on the whole a very happy and enjoyable time there. He discovered the Public Library, and read every work of Dickens that he could obtain.
