Frederico I (em alemão: Friedrich, Gota, 15 de julho de 1646 - Friedrichswerth, 2 de agosto de 1691), foi Duque de Saxe-Gota-Altemburgo de 1675 a 1691. Era quarto filho, mas o primeiro que chegou à idade adulta de Ernesto I, Duque de Saxe-Gota e da duquesa Isabel Sofia de Saxe-Altemburgo .
Frederick I, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (15 July 1646 – 2 August 1691), was a duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg. He was born in Gotha, the fourth but eldest surviving son of Ernst I, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Altenburg and Elisabeth Sophie of Saxe-Altenburg .

Fredericka of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (17 July 1715 – 2 May 1775), was a German princess, a member of the House of Wettin and by marriage Duchess of Saxe-Weissenfels . Born in Gotha, she was the fifteenth of nineteen children born from the marriage of Frederick II, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg and Magdalena Augusta of Anhalt-Zerbst.

Biografia. Era o filho mais velho de Frederico II, Duque de Saxe-Gota-Altemburgo e da sua esposa, a princesa Madalena Augusta de Anhalt-Zerbst . Após a morte do pai, em 1732, Frederico assumiu o governo do ducado de Saxe-Gota-Altemburgo.
