Daniel Rowland (also spelt Rowlands, 1713 – 16 October 1790) [1] served as an Evangelist and early on as an Anglican curate. He was one of the foremost figures in the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist revival, along with the evangelist Howell Harris and the hymnist William Williams.

Daniel Rowland is a London-based violinist, soloist, chamber musician and director. He has won several prizes, performed in various venues and festivals, and founded the Stift International Music Festival and ChamberJam Europa.
Daniel Rowland (1713 – 1790) was one of the foremost leaders of the Welsh Calvinistic Methodist revival in the early 19th century along with Howell Harris and William Williams. For most of his life he served as curate in the parishes of Nantcwnlle and Llangeitho, Ceredigion.
