Lester Louis Adler (born December 13, 1933) is an American record and film producer and the co-owner of the Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood, California. Adler has produced and developed a number of high-profile musical artists, including The Grass Roots, Jan & Dean, The Mamas & the Papas, and Carole King.
Lou Adler was born on 13 December 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. He is a producer, known for Up in Smoke (1978), The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) and Witness (1985). He has been married to Page Hannah since 28 March 1992.
Carole King’s triumphant May 26, 1973, homecoming concert on the Great Lawn of New York City’s Central Park has been made into a new feature-length concert documentary, Home Again: Carole King Live In Central Park. The film, presenting the musical icon before an estimated audience of 100,000, premiered Jan. 19, 2023, in New York.
