Frederick Augustus Conrad Muhlenberg (/ ˈ m juː l ɪ n b ɜːr ɡ /; January 1, 1750 – June 4, 1801) was an American minister and politician who was the first Speaker of the United States House of Representatives and the first Dean of the United States House of Representatives.
