Delia Catalina Ramirez (born June 2, 1983) is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative from Illinois's 3rd congressional district since 2023. A member of the Democratic Party, she also served as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 4th district from 2018 to 2023.
Congresswoman Delia Ramirez is a progressive Democrat representing the new IL-3 district as the first and only Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. In just a few months she has introduced legislation with bipartisan support to help student veterans, is co-leading the Dream and Promise Act, and introduced the Tenants Right to Organize Act.
