Jessie Eden (née Shrimpton; 24 February 1902 – 27 September 1986) was a British trade union leader and communist activist, most famous for leading between 40,000 and 50,000 households during the Birmingham rent-strike of 1939.
Jessie Eden is a major antagonist in Peaky Blinders, serving as the central antagonist of Season 4 and as a minor character in Season 5. She is an enigmatic union convener. She leads all-female factory workers in Birmingham out on strike protesting on the Bull Ring.
