24 de jul. de 2019 · On the night of 16/17 June she boarded a Lysander at RAF Tangmere in Sussex, bound for a landing field near Angers in north-western France. With her was Diane Rowden, Cecily Lefort and Charles Skeeper. These SOE agents were later captured by the Gestapo, tortured and executed.

She shared the cramped passenger section of the Lysander with Cecily Lefort. They hadn’t seen each other since their initial training at Wanborough Manor.
