Jason James Carter (born August 7, 1975) is an American lawyer and politician from the state of Georgia. Carter served in the Georgia State Senate from 2010 to 2015 and was the Democratic Party nominee for governor of Georgia in the 2014 election. Carter's paternal grandfather is former U.S. President and Georgia Governor Jimmy Carter.
Jason Carter is a British stage, film and television actor, best known for his role as Ranger Marcus Cole on "Babylon 5". He has also appeared in "Viper", "Angel", "3rd Rock From The Sun" and many other shows and movies.
