Muhammad Anwar Al Sadat (Mit Abu al-Kum, Monufia, 25 de dezembro de 1918 – Cairo, 6 de outubro de 1981) foi um militar e político egípcio, presidente do seu país de 1970 a 1981. Recebeu o Prêmio Nobel da Paz de 1978. Foi membro fundador do Movimento dos Oficiais Livres, com Gamal Abdel Nasser.
Anwar Sadat was the third president of Egypt and a Nobel Peace Prize laureate for his role in the Egypt–Israel peace treaty. He was assassinated in 1981 by Islamic militants who opposed his rapprochement with Israel and his rejection of Arab solidarity.
